Goin' to the Fair

Yesterday we went to the New York State Fair. It was definitely not what I expected! Supposedly, the "smallest woman in the world" was there and a woman with a human head, but had a snake-like body. It was kind of freaky. I saw lots of cows and pigs. I didn't get to go see Eric Church, Gary Allan, and Rascal Flatts in concert, but I got to hear it as we walked around the fair.

One picture is me and my roommate Nicole. The other picture is me with one of the baby calves. He thought my green bag tasted pretty good!

Palmyra Temple

Here are a couple of pictures I took last night on my walk. We are right down the street from the Temple and the Sacred Grove.

I'm sorry I don't have any pictures on here yet, but I did want to let everybody know that I made it. My house leaves something to be desired....but I'll let you guys see it as soon as I get some pictures posted. Apparently my roommates have had a few squirrel sightings over the weekend in our house. It even got into Michelle's bread! I have no idea what we are going to do about it...but I'm starting to get a little nervous that I will wake up in the morning to a squirrel in my bed! One good thing about today is that I did get to take a walk around the Temple and the Sacred Grove. It was great! But I'll post some pictures tomorrow so you can see for yourselves!

Pioneer Trek

I recently had the chance to go on a YSA Pioneer trek to Wyoming. This is a picture of my family in the van on our way up. We had a great time! I only came back with a few blisters and a pretty nice sunburn.
